This quilt was brought to me to quilt by Carol Reid. Carol is a special person and Nis able to take just about anything and put it into a quilt. For this particular quilt she had a friend whose family member had passed away. She was able to take some of their favorite clothes including his favorite moccasin shoes, baseball cap, the actual clothing he was wearing when he passed away including the tongue from the camo boots including the shoe laces, and the t-shirt, flannel shirt with the collar and the buttons! Not only has Carol sewed all this into the quilt but she got all the items in each block of the quilt to line up and lay perfectly flat and so easy for me to quilt for her. She does beautiful work.This quilt will be on display and will be treasured for years to come.
