One of the woman at the quilt retreat taught us how to start Japanese Braiding (Kumihimo). I decided this would be a great thing I could teach my 11 year old grand daughter so we could spend more quality time together. She has already made and quilted two quilts but I don't think the quilt bug has hit her yet.
